How to save some money with The Mobile Bike Mechanic

We all have those little annoying 5-10 minute jobs that just irritate us when we ride. It might be as simple as a flat tire that needs fixing or gears that a need slight adjustment. At The Mobile Bike Mechanic we are more than happy to do those little jobs that will make your ride as pleasant as possible, however we do have our expenses to cover. It can be embarrassing for us to explain that with  those little jobs that only take us 10-15 min we also have to charge our minimum call out fee of $79 (which includes a Basic Tune Up) and possible travel charges on top. We want you back on the road as cost effectively as possible. 

The Solution
Don’t call us out for only a 5-10 minute job only (unless you have buckets of money to throw at us… Hey don’t get us wrong, if you want to throw heaps of money at us we won’t say no 😀)

Seriously… We recommend that if you are an average rider, say 10-25 rides plus per year you should have at least 1-2 Essential Services per year or at least one Essential Service and a couple of Basic Tune Ups per year to keep your bike in great shape. So instead of paying unnecessary travel and call out costs for those little jobs just combine those jobs with your next service. You save the money and we don’t look like the bad guys charging like a wounded bull. We recommend that if you haven’t serviced your bike in over 6 months, start with our Essential Service and keep your bike in great condition from there on in. Our mechanics are more than happy to discuss what they think your bike needs and the give you an estimated cost. Please note that
we will NOT carry out any work without your prior approval.

Pricing
Minimum call out is $79, which includes a minor tune up or 30mins labour excluding parts. Travel is free within 10km of the mechanic’s locality, after that it is charged at $1/km. For bespoke services, costs start at $75/hr plus parts. Please contact us to get a quote. All additional services and costs will be discussed with you PRIOR to the work being carried out.

Cancellation Policy
Plans change, we get that. So you can reschedule or cancel your appointment up to 12 hours before at no extra cost.

Issues
